| | Arnold K. “Arnie” Altsuler brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Yancey-Hausman Commercial Real Estate Services. Altsuler graduated from the University of Texas (Austin) with a BBA degree and furthered his education by obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
In the late 1970’s, Altsuler was primarily involved in the brokerage of investment properties as well as various areas of development, including his acquisition and redevelopment of a major portion of the office and aircraft hangar space located at William P. Hobby Airport. During his tenure at the airport, Altsuler was instrumental in supporting the growth of Southwest Airlines and was responsible for bringing Federal Express to Houston.
During Houston’s economic collapse of the 1980’s, he partnered with a major real estate developer to purchase and manage Houston's exclusive Jaguar automobile dealership as well as a Volvo automobile dealership. Following the bust period, he was among the first land developers to re-enter the residential lot development business. He continued in land development well into the 1990’s until taking the position of President/CEO of Coldwell Banker Commercial Uptown in 1997. He served in that position for approximately ten years before leading a group of investors in the acquisition of Yancey-Hausman Commercial Real Estate Services in early 2008.
Along with land development and professional consulting, Altsuler has represented clients in both the acquisition and disposition of owner occupied business facilities as well as investment purchasers of multi-family apartments, office buildings, and retail shopping centers. Additionally, he has first-hand working knowledge of Internal Revenue Code # 1031 tax deferred property exchange provisions.
Arnie and his wife, Joan E., have spent their entire married life in Houston, Texas. They enjoy spending time with their two sons and their two grandchildren.

Clientele includes oil and gas companies, law, accounting and engineering firms as well as medical and dental offices. In his down time, Patrick enjoys golf, wine and reading.
